Them and They

When i sit down and think about my friends sometimes i draw a blank, people around are nice, but is that true. Everyday I have a struggle with someone who I just don't know if i feel the same way about. I've had so many troubles with them that now I'm confused. I never thought that I'll have this problem because it seems as if they had it all the time. My plan for this is to sit back and try to be happy with them and hope it brings better times and hopefully a good decision from me to them. I'm I in love with these people or do I just love them. I hate their attitude sometimes, especially sadness for no reason. That is definitely at the top of my most hated list, I HATE UNNECESSARY SADNESS. It drives me absolutely crazy. Why be like that! My mom always tell me to love and care for your friends, but the more I care the more I don't care. It is truly tearing me apart. Listening to people joke with me about it, looking them in the face, gaining new appreciation for other people I might like, and of course feeling awkward towards them. Man I try to breathe, but lately its been a short supply on air. So many questions, never enough answers. I want to just have a huge argument and end it, yet I want to have an intimate moment with them and finally connecting ourselves again. I wish I never screwed up in freshman year, I know not all of it is my fault, but I still feel responsible. A once trusted friend of mine said I gave ten percent and they gave fifthteen. Who is right and who is wrong. This is why I have no fate in Christianity life can be such a waste sometimes. This is why I;m not scared of death, not meaning I want to die. I just want to finish high school, go to college, join the army, have a more than excellent job as a engineer, street race, get married, have a family, grow old and die happily with a single tear dropping from my face while my love ones surround me. But with these people. with this person I feel stuck thinking on do I want it with them or not. All I can say is I do love them, but now I must ask am I in love with them, then that's when I'll make my decision.

Mission to Rhoake Ruins: Part II

The ride to Rhoake Ruins was long and aggravating, at least to Draco. He heard nothing from King and The Major, but silence isn't always good. On the other hand Rain was having a colorful talk with Josre who felt that Rain only came along because she wanted to be noticed, because females were just allowed back into the COG and they had to prove themselves worthy to stay. She felt that Jorse was letting out sexist remarks about how weak and insecure women were so she indulged in the childish behavior as well until Draco yelled that's enough to quiet the duo, and give everyone some peace. While still on route the team noticed Locust activity, nothing big just them attempting to set a trap later for gears to get ambushed in. The Major radioed in to control and asked permission to dispatch the threat, control ed gave full clearance. So with that a battle ensued.
The KR was instructed by Major Brown to land them in a sand hill overshadowing the trap, the squad hopped out off the helicopter and continued closer on foot. After being within medium range behind the Locust, they were told to open fire. Few Locust maybe three were killed instantly, the other nineteen swarmed behind pillars. The squad wanted to drop at least twelve before advancing and that they did. Major Brown motioned for Draco and his son King to follow his lead, and told Rain and the others to cover their back. With suppressive fire behind them they ran for the next available pieces of cover. Draco could the enemies that were left. There were three Drones, two Grenadiers, a Boomer and a Theron Guard. When Draco noticed the Theron he immediately opened fired on it unloading a full clip when it was dead a half a clip ago. Major watched as the husk fell to the sand, then turned and stared at Draco until a stray bullet flew across his balding head, thinking "Six more to go". Jorse shot the heads off the two grenadiers who simultaneously tried to throw bolo grenades at the group. The drones fell to King and Major Brown's twin firepower. And all that was left was the Boomer, a big, husky creature that yelled "BOOM" every time it begun to shot its boom shot gun, unleashing a rocket propelled grenade attempting to destroy its prey. Rain saw this as her chance to prove herself, secretly asking Lance for cover fire, rushed out to the battlefield allowing the Boomer to waste his shot on a swift target, after dodging the blast she unpinned her grenade stuck it onto the dumb hulk's backside and glorifly swam ed in its remains. Staring at the blank expressions on her comrades faces she felt alive, but then looked at the Major's sour expression and expected a proper yelling back on the KR.
She was right after the Major signaled on the com-link to aware the pilot that their off-route adventure was completed, he gave her a swift proverbial boot to her gut, but verbally. After a brief lecture, clean-up, and extraction of the Locust armor and weapons the gang boarded the chopper and continued on their original mission. Each thinking on what was going to happen next at the outpost at Rhoake Ruins, it wasn't called Ruins for nothing. After all it is a heavily guarded stronghold of the Locust Horde and they aren't just going to give it up without a hard and long fight. Draco knew this to well and he did what he did best he became the leader everyone needed to hear from in a justified speech, even the Major marveled at his encouraging words. And he showed his appreciation with the revving of his Lancer chainsaw bayonet. Saying "Lets give them hell fellas.''

Mission to Rhoake Ruins: Part I

Draco was a man of his word and he never failed to keep them. He promised his brother that he would become a famed soldier and make their father proud. This he held to heart and he wouldn't let Kai down. So every mission he embarked on he completed and in phenomenal timing. He selected his squad very strongly. Each had a skill that he needed to rise through the ranks. Captain was an ideal position, but Draco felt that it wasn't bad to want a higher rank. His squad mates were consisted of his best friend since childhood King who was a built black male who had great driver and mapmaker, Rain a chestnut skin shaded brunette with amazing features and was a excellent hand-to-hand combatant and his little crush at one point during childhood, Lance a quiet caucasian male of about 5'11 with blond hair and a built in hood on his armor who was ironically a good sniper, and Josre a hispanic 5'6 athlete with analyzing skills that could save you life miles away. This was his squad, his comrades, and his friends.
Beta squad was called to command control for their new mission briefing. King was especially excited because he was told by a reliable source that his father was going to accompanying the squad on their mission. When they reached command the leader of the COG forces, Chairman Richard Prescott, was there to greet them. Draco was the first to be recognized by the Chairman saying that his progress has opened many possibilities to the survival of the human race. Draco sat there and simply nodded barely speaking a word to him. After meeting the team he asked them to follow him into the briefing room, where they were debriefed about their mission. He stated that this may possibly be the most risky mission thus far. The COG needed to abstract information from an old base that was overran by The Locust two years ago, they were to escort First Major Laurence Brown to the site so he could "acquire" the data. After that they are to destroy the base with a Light mass grenade so that the base could be destroyed and a major access point to the surface used by the Locust could be shut down. Thus taking away a stronghold from the Locust.
After briefing they headed outside to prep and board the King Raven, a COG helicopter and only air type transporter. When drawing near the KR they noticed someone with a bitter voice giving orders to the pilot and co-pilot, telling them where to place equipment and to start the roters and engine while awaiting Beta squad's arrival. He heard the loud, minor echo of the teams and turned around without hesitation. When looked upon their faces he quickly noticed his own son's face and cheered. Saying "I heard you and Beta have one hell of a mission streak. And for that I'm proud to have you and your squad escort me Rhoake Ruins. King simply smiled while blushing at his father's approval. Major Brown moved from cheerful to aggressive as he soon started to bark orders at the squad. And they savagely abide by everything they heard. After handling the procedure for the KR they sat of on their journey, hoping to bring their bodies back intact.
